Instructional Academic Model and Delivery
An academic model of learning will be instituted at Lauderhill 6-12 to allow teachers to work through a flexible schedule within three blocks of instruction, with an additional period for research at the end of the day. This design will allow teachers and students to move from whole group instruction to small group instruction and ultimately to independent learning. The intense use of technology as a tool for the delivery of instruction and completion of tasks will make all of our students well-rounded life-long learners and ready for the real world. Teacher planning and student learning will be grounded on three key elements: relationship, rigor and relevance.
